Wouldn’t it be wonderful to find a printed version of your favorite podcast? I dictated and designed a collection of three of my favorite stories from the This American Life series. The illustrations and cover designs are carefully chosen to express the specific personality of each theme.

East Atlanta Village is one of Atlanta’s most energized and active communities. This forward thinking community is filled with vibrant and creative people. This project involved updating the logo identity and web presence to reflect the qualities of this neighborhood. The color palate captures the warm and eclectic feel of this neighborhood.

The Japanese visual artist Takashi Murakami is widely known for his use of bold color and pattern. This project allowed me to create a logo that utilizes both color and shape to express his aeshtetic and illustration style.

Mousey Brown Hair Care | Logo Design, Branding
Mousey Brown is a full–service hair salon in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn. This unique salon evokes a nostalgic feel, as its 1940’s decor and trinkets represent. This rebrand project allowed me to tap into the salons uniqueness. The assignment allowed me to expanded and further bolster the brand by designing Mousey Browns’ very own brand of hair care products. The icons represent the appropriate hair type: fine/thin, wavy/curly, color–treated, and dry/damaged. The spirit of the brand is shown in its new product line.
Robert Mondavi wine series, Memphis | Package Design
This whimsical wine series is inspired by the Memphis Art Movement which thrived throughout the 1980’s. This was a time of exploration that challenged the mundane of everyday consumer items and architecture. The movement carries a spirit of constant change, larger–than–life shape, and juxtaposition. True to the Mondavi series, each wine is specifically chosen to pair with the most simple tasteful foods, exciting the tastebuds for a poignant sensory experience.
The Warm UP | Sustainable Package Design
Mylar is an aluminum–coated plastic material developed by NASA for thermal insulation in space. You commonly see this material used right here in New York City at the annual NYC Marathon. Each runner who finishes the race receives a mylar sheath for warmth after the race. These sheaths sit piled up in the streets of the city.
What if we designated bins to toss sheaths in to be reused to warm up those less fortunate than us in these cold city winters? The Warm UP provides a warm, yet breathable solution for those spending time out in colder temperatures.

Clairol Color Blend Technology | Package Design
Here you are again in the hair color aisle. What color did you use last time – #77? No, it must have been #74… Wait, was it ash brown or golden? brown?
This packaging system allows you to make simple choices in the big bad world of hair color. Catchy names like “Honeypot” are accompanied by jewel tone packaging to help you more easily make your color choice. You can interact with these products by choosing eye color, skin tone, and hair color to see which shade works for you. A handy refrigerator magnet is included in the box to help you remember your chosen shade. Be gone hair color madness!
